In Twente we have extensive farmlands, fairytale forests and we have an extensive network of mountain bike trails and tours. You can make beautiful mountain bike tours in the border area of ​​the Netherlands and Germany. For both novice and advanced mountain bikers you will experience Twente at its purest and you can fully enjoy the nostalgic farms, the golden yellow cliffs at the river Dinkel and you might also encounter a wild animal during your trip!

Cycling in Twente! That is cycling in Hennie Kuiper's backyard. Cycling in Twente means enjoying the beautiful nature, relaxing, exploring and, above all, having a real holiday! You can make beautiful trips on flat and sloping roads over a network of different routes. For a little more challenge, there are a few challenging climbs just across the border in Germany. Under the leadership of bicycle ambassador and expert Theo de Rooij and in collaboration with cycling clubs in Overijssel, three routes have been developed in Twente for the diehards and pleasure cyclists. The routes have few traffic lights, the roads are wide and the asphalt is well maintained. So with the whole family, alone or in a group, cycling fun is 100% guaranteed!
